Heli-Ski U.S. member operations are committed to your safety

Our Association actively manages a four-pronged safety program:

Safety Practice Guidelines

In 2003, Heli-Ski U.S. adopted its Heli-Skiing Safety and Operating Guidelines (HSOG). Now in their fourth iteration, those guidelines have become the Gold Standard for safety in the helicopter skiing/snowboarding industry. Click to view our HSOG document.

Performance Reviews

Every member firm and new applicant is subject to regular audits for compliance with the HSOG. Firms that do not score “A” grades in critical areas are placed on a Corrective Action Program and subject to re-review the following season.
